Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about swapping into Monero.

What is Rex Leo Swap?

Rex Leo Swap is a non-custodial cryptocurrency exchange that converts supported coins into Monero (XMR). There are no accounts and no KYC — you send crypto to a one-time deposit address, and we send XMR to the Monero address you provide.

How long does a swap take?

After you send your deposit, we wait for it to confirm on its network (for example, Bitcoin requires several confirmations, which typically takes 30–60 minutes). Once confirmed, your XMR is usually sent within a minute. Total time depends on network congestion and confirmation speed.

What is the minimum and maximum?

The minimum swap is $25 worth of crypto. The maximum at any moment depends on our available XMR liquidity and is shown on the swap widget and the Status page. Larger swaps may be limited to protect the pool.

What coins are supported?

We are launching with Bitcoin (BTC). Only coins shown as available in the swap selector and on the Status page can be swapped right now. Additional coins will appear as they come online.

What is the coin flip?

After your swap is confirmed, you may be offered an optional 'double or nothing' style coin flip. It is completely optional — you can always skip it and take your standard XMR payout. If you play and win, you receive a multiple of your payout; if you lose, you receive nothing.

Is the coin flip provably fair?

Yes. Before the flip we publish a cryptographic commitment (a hash of our secret server seed). The outcome is derived from an HMAC of the server seed and your client seed. After the flip we reveal the server seed so you can verify the hash and re-compute the result yourself — proving we could not have changed the outcome.

What if my transaction doesn't arrive?

First, confirm your deposit actually broadcast and reached the required confirmations — you can follow progress on the Track Order page using your order ID. If your deposit confirmed but XMR has not arrived after a reasonable time, keep your order ID and deposit transaction hash and contact the operator. Always verify the Monero address you entered was correct, since funds sent to a wrong address cannot be recovered.
